Rhys David was a newborn on a mission to arrive as quickly as possible to his Oconomowoc (now) family of six!
Consequently this baby’s doctor didn’t even arrive to the hospital in time for his delivery so I guess you could say he
was more than ready to get here. He wasn’t very concerned that everyone expected him to arrive ten or so days later
with his due date being January 10th. He was born on December 27, 2017, and weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and
measured 21.75 inches at birth. You might be thinking that’s a pretty big baby but his brothers and sister all weighed
quite a bit more, his oldest brother being 11 pounds at birth!
I just loved photographing those big, adorable, squishy cheeks of his. You can tell from these images that those cheeks are a
signature Parkins trademark that their children still haven’t yet lost!
I couldn’t get enough of this little guy. He slept like an angel and only woke up briefly in the beginning of our time together to show
me those big, brown eyes for this beautiful shot.
Mom mentioned she liked simple setups over complicated prop shots so I made sure to bring only the essentials to their session.
She definitely wanted the focus to be on her sweet baby boy. Mission accomplished!
This 20×30 canvas looks beautiful on this family’s mantle!
I LOVE how the blind embossing looks on the leather cover of their album.
Look at this beautiful storyboard canvas! It is bound to look fantastic with the collection of storyboards this family has from their many sessions.
Welcome to the world “little” Rhys! We’re so glad you joined us.
