Newborn sessions are my favorite images to take. I love babies. I love birth stories. I love being invited into people’s homes at such a transitional time in their lives and spending a few hours creating art for their walls. It’s so special to me. I was introduced to Baby Eleanora’s family through my youngest son, Greyson. He went to preschool with Nora’s big brother and sister. Greyson is very used to being the “third wheel” hanging out with his twin brothers so I guess he just naturally gravitated to Parker and Emberly, also twins. They became fast friends.
I also love it when I’m asked to take both the maternity and newborn sessions for a couple/family. In this case I already knew the family well but in many cases it gives me a chance to get to know them better and gives them a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera. The images when put together tell a beautiful story of expectancy and arrival. To check out this family’s maternity session click here.
Baby Nora is the sweetest, picture-perfect little angel. She slept like one for almost the entire session. Her big brother and sister kept things entertaining as well! I just love their personalities and super active imaginations. Maybe it’s a twin thing because I see extra creative, imaginative play with my little guys too (more so than with my two singletons). Could be coincidence. I’m sure there is a study out there on it somewhere.
Nora is blessed to have some very talented parents! Scroll down to see the beautiful nursery they put together. Nora’s daddy spent many hours painting the wall behind her crib per her mommy’s vision. The whole room is so serene and calming. I loved all of the details.
Check out all the sweetness that unfolded during my time with them. A beautiful family inside and out!
So sweet! I love these!
