Connor is the definition of a gentle giant. A dedicated athlete at Oconomowoc High School, he balanced both football and track with heart and determination. An ACL injury during his senior season cut his final season short and led to another surgery, which was a tough setback, but Connor took it in stride. He still showed up, crutches and all, cheering on his teammates from the sidelines under those Friday night lights.
For his senior pictures, Connor chose a place close to his heart; his family’s property on Sugar Island, tucked away on Lower Nemahbin Lake. Getting there required a short boat ride (which I loved!), and once we arrived, it was easy to see why this spot means so much to him. The island holds years of memories, and it was so fun to see it through his eyes as he showed me around. I love it when seniors choose meaningful locations for their senior pictures because it brings so much more meaning to the images as well.
To round out his session, we headed to the Oconomowoc High School fields for some shots in his football jersey, a perfect way to honor the time and dedication he gave to his teams.
Connor, it was such a joy getting to know you and capturing this milestone in a meaningful way. I can’t wait to see where life takes you. It’s bound to be great!
