Holy moly I’m all the sudden feeling old. This lovely young lady used to be in my 3rd grade Spanish class when I was still teaching at St. Joan of Arc Parish School. I’ve photographed her and her family as she has grown up and now she is about to be graduating from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in just a short couple of weeks! Time really flies!

Senior year has been a special one for Isabella! She has been very involved with her Robotics team during her high school career. As a sophomore her team qualified for the World Championships in Houston, TX. Last year she was a finalist on the Dean’s List for Robotics, which is quite the feat! And this year, her team went to the World Championships again! They were on the main field as one of the favorite teams to win. Her team
was up against teams whose mentors worked for NASA with some of the best engineers in the world. Their team placed 4th in the nation!

Isabella is taking her talents to Texas A&M where she plans to get her mechanical engineering degree! It has been so fun to watch Isabella grow up to be the beautiful young woman she is, both inside and out!

Take a peek below to learn a little more about Isabella Schweitzer!
