I’ve been photographing Megan and her family for many years. From numerous family sessions to photographing her two older brothers for their senior sessions, I’ve gotten to know them pretty well. This time it was Megan’s turn!
Megan chose to start in Nashotah Park because she enjoys spending time there and it was close to home so we could fit in some sunset (and doggy) pictures there after. What gorgeous weather we had! It was a beautiful evening celebrating this smart, hard-working, kind young lady who has such a bright future ahead.
Megan has had some pretty amazing experiences in high school so make sure you check out those below. Impressive!
She has exciting plans coming up and I can’t wait to follow along on her journey. Congratulations Megan! I’ll see you tomorrow at Graduation!
Meet Megan
For fun I like to…
read, go for walks, and spend time with my loved ones.
My dream job is…
neuropsychologist-helping people with traumatic brain injuries and diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
My favorite subject in school is/was…
I really love science and anatomy classes but have recently dove into my English classes.
What I’m looking forward to this after high school is…
living in and exploring the city of Chicago!
My favorite memory in high school so far was…
dressing up and getting ready with all of my friends for senior prom.

Some high school accomplishments were…
I was on my school’s DECA leadership team both junior and senior year. I was also on my school’s HOSA leadership team this past year.

After I graduate I plan to…
attend Loyola University Chicago with a major in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience. During my junior year, I hope to travel abroad to Rome and explore Europe!
My proudest moment was…
going to International Career Development Conference for DECA my senior year.
Dream vacation…spend an entire year traveling Europe and experiencing all the seasons
Favorite local place to eat…My favorite place to go for an after-school feast is Roots in downtown Oconomowoc
Favorite movie…You’ve Got Mail
Favorite playlist includes…I like a wide range of energetic and poetic music. I currently am a big Taylor Swift, The 1975, LANY, Lana Del Rey, and Coldplay fan.
Have lunch with anyone (alive or dead)…who? Jane Austen
Something on your bucket list…travel to and live in a community of another country.
Hands on experience you gained in High School…Communicating and working with those I may have not anywhere else. In the process, overcoming any uncomfortability or barriers that were blocking the relationship.
The worst part of high school is…trying to discover who you are and unfortunately getting hurt by others during the process.
The best part of high school is…finding life long relationships with friends and teachers. SO many different opinions/identities/personalities to learn from and appreciate.
Favorite thing about our community? How people of all ages come together to celebrate all our wins and grieve our losses.
