Nelson is an incredibly talented artist who has a passion for creating miniature trolls. When we sat down to plan out his senior session he mentioned he wanted to incorporate his creations into his senior session. That was a first for me but mission accomplished!

Nelson followed my advice and chose a location that had special meaning to him. A specific area of Nashotah Park was our destination. This area backed up to the house where he grew up. He and his twin brother spent countless hours playing make believe in the depths of this forest. It was the perfect location for him and his trolls!

One of Nelson’s portraits really spoke to me personally and I decided to enter it into competition. It received a merit with Professional Photographers of America. You’ll find that image if you scroll to the bottom.

Nelson is such a passionate young man with so much talent and drive. I love his answer to what he is looking forward to the rest of the school year as well as once he graduates! I can 100% relate to this answer. It was such a delight to meet him and his sweet family!

The worst part of high school is…the fact that it is almost over. I love learning…but also, homework is the worst.
