Can you believe we are nearing the end of yet another school year? Crazy! It always comes up so fast and I’m guessing I’m not the only one who feels a little unprepared. I know I’ll be feeling a lot heavier next year when our oldest son is a senior. My heart is aching for all the moms and dads who are going through all those feelings now. It’s both exciting and hard to swallow at the same time when your son or daughter is about to leave home and start their own life.
This guy is wrapping up his senior year at New Berlin Eisenhower. I’m excited to introduce another senior from my “Celebrate the Seniors” series and this time it is a friend’s son, Quinn Del Ponte. When I started this blog series in 2020 it was because I wanted to bring some sunshine to the seniors who missed out on so much of the fun of senior year. I have been continuing this tradition for the last couple of years because…why not? It’s fun and these seniors are so amazing, they deserve some extra attention!
I met Quinn’s mom in college where we shared many good times together. Thinking about those times makes me very excited for Quinn, who will soon be embarking on some awesome college experiences of his own! Quinn will be heading off to the University of Minnesota in the fall. He is an easy-going, happy and funny guy who was up for anything during his senior portrait session. Stands to reason because his mom is the same way! She always has the biggest smile on her face, is funny and up for anything too!
We decided to head downtown to the Third Ward for his senior session. That area offers so much variety for an urban session. I loved exploring with Quinn! Check out this super cool urban session with Quinn Del Ponte.
