As we start to wrap up yet another school year it’s a great time for reflection and celebration. One way I love to help in that celebration is by featuring some seniors who choose to participate in my “Celebrate the Seniors” series here on my blog. Today we are featuring Samantha Barth! Samantha is a senior at Whitnall High School and shared some things about her life and interests that I’m excited to bring to you today.
I love it when seniors incorporate their interests in their senior sessions to show off what they were passionate about at this time in their life! Samantha plays the clarinet and brought her instrument along. She is very talented and I wish I would have asked her to play something for me. Who else loves the sound of the clarinet?
Samantha has found engineering to be of great interest to her and landed an internship this year exploring this field. She will be attending MSOE this fall where she will continue on the engineering path.

For fun I like to…
Travel, fish, and be outdoors! I love going Up North during the summertime, where I can relax, go fishing, boating, hiking, and visit so many unique places that aren’t anywhere else! I have been fishing all over the state of Wisconsin; from the Mississippi River Lock and Dam in Lacrosse, to the Wisconsin River in Necedah, and many lakes across Wisconsin! (and ate really good fish fries too!) I also love exercising, whether it’s swimming or hiking in the summer, or at the gym during the rest of the year. I love moving around and feeling like I can conquer the world afterwards!
My proudest moment was…
Landing an engineering internship at a fortune 500 company while still attending high school. Through my hard work and dedication I was able to perform more efficiently, resulting in a higher level of devotion for details and techniques in my work.
After I graduate I plan to…
Attend the Milwaukee School of Engineering, working towards my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
A Project Manager.
My band trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. We performed at Disney Springs twice, and spent three days at the Disney Parks, and one day at Universal Studios. During that trip I made new friends, and was able to spend my time at Disney with my friends. My favorite part of the trip was seeing Rhinos, Giraffes, Elephants, and other Safari animals up close during the Safari Ride at Disney Animal Kingdom.
My senior Prom! I am super excited for another spirit week, parade, and other school festivities leading up to Prom. I am also excited to be able to spend the whole day with my friends getting ready, brunch, taking pictures, and everything else related to Prom! This year’s prom will be held at the Harley Davidson Museum in Downtown Milwaukee.
A mix of Country Artists such as Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, and Jon Pardi, as well as a few pop artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Lizzo, and Megan Thee Stallion.
My favorite snack is…
Dill Pickles or Dark Chocolate
