If you have had the pleasure of tasting an indulgent treat from Sally’s Sweet Shoppe you may be nodding your head in agreement right now as I say their sweets are to die for! I had been asking around for local bakeries to partner with for some time and kept hearing about Sally’s again and again. I knew I had to check them out.
The first bite of their cupcakes had me sold!
I called them up right away! Tracey “Sally” Catarozoli, owner of Sally’s, has been fabulous to work with from the start. She earned the nickname “Sally Sunshine” from loved ones for her joyful personality which is where the shoppe’s name is derived. I can vouch for that. She has always been very cheerful and accommodating.
This year is Sally’s Sweet Shoppe’s eighth year in business. The Genesee Depot Shoppe is the original location. Tracey opened up a second location in Delafield two years ago to fill a void of bakeries selling celebration cakes in the Lake Country area. Both stores have a very welcoming mid-century kitchen vibe and offer freshly baked breads, custom cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and other baked goodies. Check out all the latest creations on their Facebook page. They just posted a video of their very talented cake decorator, Mel, making a unicorn cake!
I love bringing treats to spoil my clients at their reveals and Sally’s is the perfect fit! Look at these beautiful logo cookies they’ve been making for me. Not only are they so pretty but they taste amazing too!
Next time you are celebrating something special in your home be sure to support local business by ordering from Sally’s Sweet Shoppe. You will be so glad you did! From birthday cakes to creative cookie designs they have so much to offer. Surprise your family today with some delicious treats. I highly recommend the dark chocolate truffle filled cupcakes! If you visit the Delafield location (810 Genesee Street) be sure to check out the gorgeous wood print that hangs on their wall as you enter. I am thrilled to have my work on display here and to be working with the kind staff at Sally’s Sweet Shoppe!
