HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION LAST?

These usually take about an hour but plan for a little extra just in case.

DO YOU ALSO PHOTOGRAPH IN COLOR?

Yes! Most clients love the timeless and classic B&W style but some clients do prefer color. Please let us know your preference and we are happy to accommodate! It’s helpful if you let us know know during your session so we can provide you with color options during your Zoom ordering meeting.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We have you covered… during our Zoom consultation, we will cover clothing options.  We often suggest monochromatic, neutral/dark tones, good textures, and clean lines…but we want you to be comfortable and the wardrobe still needs to be ‘you’. Fitted photographs better than baggy.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE SESSION?

Bring along a collapsible water dish and your dog’s favorite treats. That’s all you need as we rarely work with props…even their collars come off.  We prefer to photograph dogs in the buff. I have squeaky toys in the studio to help get their attention but if you want to bring along a favorite, that’s fine too!😉Having said that, if your dog has a beautiful dress collar, bow tie, or even an outfit that you love on him/her, bring it along and we’ll incorporate that into our session. Once again, don’t forget the treats!

WOULD YOU PHOTOGRAPH OUR FAMILY TOO?

Absolutely! I encourage the whole family to get in the photos! Beautiful photos with your sweet dog are ones you will treasure and everyone will be so excited to be involved!

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

The studio is located downtown Oconomowoc in the Avenue Square Building. 175 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Ste. C. My studio is upstairs and in the front of the building, facing Wisconsin Avenue. You will find street parking in the front or a large lot in the back of the building.

SHOULD I GROOM MY DOG BEFORE OUR SESSION?

That depends…if you like the freshly groomed look, yes, please! Though some owners prefer the scruffy look…think of how you want to remember your pooch.

Either way, we do like to see your dog’s beautiful eyes. If your groomer handles this, make sure it’s done well in advance, as groomers can sometimes be a little heavy-handed with the scissors. It’s best to plan ahead or even do a light trim at home.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?

RE-SCHEDULE: Things come up in our lives and there are times when a reschedule is necessary. We ask for 7 days’ notice to re-schedule your sessional at no charge. You can re-schedule only once. The new date must be scheduled within 3 months of your original session date. If you are rescheduling due to illness, there will be no additional charge and your new session date will need to be re-booked within 30 days.
Re-scheduling your session with fewer than 7 days’ notice will forfeit your booking payment of $100. CANCELLATIONS: Canceling your session will result in the loss of your session booking fee, although the amount does become a studio credit and can be applied to any type of future portrait session, booked within 6 months of the date of cancelation.
