The family of three.  It’s one of my favorites to capture.  Not that I don’t love photographing families of all sizes because I really do but there’s something about the family of three.  Maybe because it brings me back to that time in my life when parenting was brand new.  We had time to shower our one little guy with all the attention.  He could do no wrong and every triumph was celebrated to the utmost.  Fast forward to four years later when the twins arrived and our relatively quiet family came to a screeching halt.  My husband and I were suddenly outnumbered and struggling just to gasp for air once in a while in the midst of chaos.  But I digress.  This post is all about the beautiful Matthews Family of three…sweet three!  I met Emily and Kevin last year when Emily was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed.Oconomowoc-photographer She was pregnant during the wedding and several months later contacting me to take little Theo’s newborn pictures.

What a fantastic session that was!  I was also fortunate to meet her side of the family for an extended family session this past summer.  Look at the coordination in this image.  I was IMPRESSED!  It is not easy to pull that off with large groups.

Unfortunately little Theo wasn’t feeling the best that day.  We still got beautiful pictures but I was THRILLED to see him again for this session in his normal happy state.  I know I say this a lot but I am so thankful for the people I meet through photography.  I love watching families grow year after year.  It’s my favorite!  I really am the luckiest.
This little guy is to die for.  Wouldn’t you agree?  He has the sweetest demeanor and just ate up all of the attention his mom and dad pour on him.  It’s obvious that he is soooooo loved.  What’s not to be happy about?Matthews 2 Matthews 3 Matthews 4 Matthews 5Matthews 17 Matthews 6 Matthews 7 Matthews 8 Matthews 9 Matthews 10 Matthews 11 Matthews 12 Matthews 13 Matthews 14 Matthews 15 Matthews 16
