It’s the final stretch for many of you! You’ve almost made it. A few more days of packing lunches, helping with homework and rushing to meet the bus! It’s nearing the last day of school which reminds me that I need to get some things ready this week to help the kids celebrate! On the last day of the school year we always welcome our kids home with these banners. They love jumping and tearing through them! They are super easy and quick to make and make a big impact with our kids who have grown to look forward to them every year. I buy the rolls of paper at a craft store and paint them (outside) right after the kids get on the bus the morning of the last day. It doesn’t take long and they’re dry within an hour. Here are a few images that demonstrate this tradition. I love looking back to see how much they’ve grown from year to year! This year Greyson gets his first banner. Can’t wait to watch them all celebrate! What are some ways you celebrate the end of the school year? Comment below! I’d love to read all about it!
I love these pictures because I don’t think I have ever seen any of these in person!!
Someday I’ll make a scrapbook album with them all in there for the kids to see how much they changed from year to year!

Love your blogs!! Please keep them coming. I read everyone and learn from them even though I do not have young children anymore. I will use your advice with my grandchildren that I watch weekly. My, the twins are growing up so fast!! I miss them, I hope they are doing well.
Thank you,
Miss Cathy
Thanks Cathy! Glad you enjoy them. You sound like a GREAT Grandma!
