This family portrait session actually occurred last summer at Foxbrook Park in Brookfield, Wisconsin and I am just now getting around to blogging it. This isn’t because I didn’t want to at the time I photographed this beautiful family but rather because I was unable to blog about 90% of what I wanted to last year due to a “broken” blog. My previous blog site wasn’t allowing me to upload images (obviously a bit of a problem for a photographer) and this happened at a time when I was too busy to find a long-term solution. I’m excited to be offering mini sessions at this location this year so I decided to bring back a bit of the magic of last year by featuring the gorgeous Schmitt family! You may have seen them in my feed once or five times (ha!). This momma loves her pictures and with so many additions to their family (and another on the way!) it’s inevitable that multiple portrait sessions per year are a must-have investment. Those babies grow so fast!
I’ve been blessed to have met so many great families since we moved to Oconomowoc four short years ago and this is definitely one of them. The Schmitts are down to Earth, easy-going, funny, all around good people. I love how in love they are and what great parents they are to their two (soon to be three) little girls. Those girls are so lucky! We decided on their portrait session to take place at Foxbrook Park because the direction of the sun is ideal over the water at sunset. I love me some beautiful backlight as you’ve probably guessed if you’ve seen my work. Additionally only steps away from the beach are gorgeous fields all around. I just love it and this family rocked it! Have a look!
